Worship With Us

Sundays at 11 AM

Traditional & Casual

Worship at Newberry UMC traditional in many of its elements, but it’s packaged in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We sing hymns and will often incorporate practices such as creeds and various liturgies, and we want it to feel inclusive to all, whether you are familiar with these practices or not. The goal of our worship every Sunday is to create something special together. Everyone in worship, whether you’re with us in person or on our Livestream, makes the service what it is. Your presence matters.

Communion

We practice the sacrament of communion every first Sunday of the month. In The United Methodist Church, we believe in an open table, which means that all are welcome to come and participate. Whether it is your first time in church or your three-hundredth, God’s grace is present in these gifts of the bread and the cup. No one will ever be turned away from this table.

We use gluten-free bread so that everyone has the opportunity to receive communion from the same elements.

Show up early? Join us for coffee before worship!

Coffee hour starts at 10 AM in the fellowship hall every Sunday. Come early, grab coffee, juice, and snacks, and chat with others before worship begins.
