Evangelism ministries reach out to the unchurched and those who have
turned away from God. In order to contact the lost (those outside of Christ)
Newberry UMC participates in the various festivals held in town and we
speak to all we meet, offering them God’s love and information about the
programs of our church. We reach out to the needy of our community by
giving them bread and other food items every Monday and Wednesday
morning. We have volunteers who mentor in the local Elementary School,
and we sometimes provide meals for the athletic teams at the High School.
We are always looking for other ways to spread the love of God. Let us
